A woman was arrested for OVI early Sunday after she asked a Bay Village officer for directions.
According to Bay Village police, the officer was flagged down by the driver whose car was stopped in the middle of Lake Road at Bradley Road just after 3:30 a.m.
The driver said she was lost and asked for directions to her house in North Olmsted.
While talking to the driver, the officer determined that the woman was drunk.
According to police, she failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.
Her BAC was more than .170, police said.
