CLEVELAND — A woman struck a trooper’s cruiser and two Newburgh Heights police cruisers during a chase on Friday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
A trooper attempted to stop a vehicle for window tint and a fictitious registration violation on Interstate 77 north.
The female driver of the vehicle, the only occupant, failed to stop and fled from the trooper.
Newburgh Heights Police Department was assisting OSHP in apprehending the woman when she rammed two of their police cruisers as well as a trooper’s cruiser, according to authorities.
The woman made it to Cleveland before the trooper used his cruiser to bring the pursuit to an end on East 105th Street near St. Clair Avenue.
The woman was arrested without further incident.
No other vehicles were damaged and there were no reported injuries.
