WOODMERE, Ohio — The Woodmere Police Department swore in a new addition to their force, a young four-legged officer named Revan.

Revan became the Woodmere Police Department’s first ever K-9 Officer when he was sworn in on Jan. 9, according to police.

Watch his swearing-in ceremony below:

Officer Revan even had some of his K-9 brothers from neighboring police departments there to witness the ceremony, police said.

Woodmere Police Department's Officer Dotson will be working with and training K-9 Revan over the next year to prepare the pup for the line of duty so he can uphold the oath he put his paw print on.
