LAKE COUNTY, Ohio — The Lake County Sheriff's Office rescued three juveniles from Lake Erie Wednesday night.
Deputies said they received a call before 6:45 p.m. about three juveniles swimming off the breakwall near a lighthouse and the current was taking them away.
Deputies arrived within two minutes of getting the call and spotted the distressed juveniles.
The Marine Patrol crew was able to pull the juveniles onto their boat.
Two of the juveniles were transported to Tripoint Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies said none of the juveniles were using personal flotation devices.
