MENTOR, Ohio — The Lake Humane Society is opening its doors on a day they're normally closed to give 65 homeless animals, who were recently removed from a home, the chance to find their forever loving family.
On Wednesday, the Lake Humane Society will open their doors from 12-5 p.m. with the hope that citizens across Northeast Ohio can make room for a pet.
The stay associated with a pending humane case brought 69 animals to the shelter since May. Since the stay was recently lifted, the humane society is allowed to find homes for the animals.
All adult cats have an adoption fee of $25 and adult dogs have $25 off their adoption fee. For more information about the adoptable animals looking for their forever home, visit lakehumane.org.
