A puppy was stolen from a Mentor motel room Friday, police said.
A woman staying at the Studio 6 on Reynolds Road reported that someone burglarized her room and took the 8-month-old pit bull at around 12:30 p.m.
Mentor Police released a photo of a suspect on their Facebook page but it appears that the post has since been deleted.
Tuesday morning the department posted that someone who may have been involved had been identified.
