Ford is investing $200 million to upgrade the Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake.
The company announced Tuesday the investment, along with a $1.6 billion investment in its Livonia Transmission Plant in Michigan.
The Ohio investment is expected to create or retain 150 jobs and comes as part of the 2015 UAW-Ford collective bargaining agreement to continue investing in its U.S. plants.
The investment enables production of the Super Duty chassis cab at the Avon Lake plant.
