ELYRIA, Ohio — If you live in Northeast Ohio and want to adopt a dog, now is the time to do so.
The Lorain County Dog Kennel in Elyria is almost at capacity.
The shelter said there is only one open cage left.
The shelter has not euthanized in over four years due to lack of space or anything other than extreme aggression or fatal illness.
They are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The shelter is located at 301 Hadaway Street in Elyria.
