HARRISVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash.
The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 224 and Vandemark Road.
A 40-year-old man was driving a 1997 Honda Accord northbound on Vandemark Road.
According to troopers, the Honda ran the stop sign and was struck by a 42-year-old man driving a 2003 Jeep Cherokee.
Rebecca Lake, 36, the front seat passenger of the Honda, was flown to Akron General Hospital, where she later died.
The driver of the Honda and a juvenile were transported to Lodi Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Jeep was transported to Akron General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
