BRIMFIELD TWP., Ohio — The Ohio State Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred in Brimfield Township early Sunday morning.
Around 1 a.m., a 2016 Honda Accord was traveling north on Mogadore Road. The driver of the Honda, later identified as 37-year-old Jennifer Ketterman, traveled off the ride side of the road and struck a cement barricade. Both speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, officials said.
Ketterman was wearing her seat belt during the time of the crash, according to troopers.
Brimfield Township Police Department, Tallmadge Police Department, Kent Police Department and Brimfield Fire Department all responded to the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
