A second teenager has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Kent State University student.

Police say the 17-year-old Massillon teen was arrested Wednesday around 8 p.m.

He was transported to the Portage County Juvenile Justice Center on a delinquency by aggravated murder charge, where he is being held without bond.

This is the second person charged in connection with the murder of 18-year-old Nicholas Massa.

Earlier this week, a Stow-Munroe Falls High School student was charged in the shooting. A motion was filed in court Tuesday to try that juvenile as an adult.

Massa was visiting friends in an apartment on the third floor of the Ryan Place apartments Sunday afternoon when three men wearing bandanas charged into the apartment. Massa, a freshman managerial marketing major, was shot during a robbery.
