RICHLAND COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Richland County.
Troopers said the crash happened around 12:45 p.m. on Bowman Street in Franklin Township.
Colin Grassick, 28, was driving a 2009 Ford escape northbound on Bowman Street, when he drove left of center and struck a 2007 Freightliner Semi, according to troopers.
Grassick was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 2-year-old boy was flown to Nationwide Children's Hospital, where he later died.
A 6-year-old girl was transported to Ohio Health Mansfield in unknown condition.
The driver of the other vehicle was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
