BEACH CITY, Ohio — Authorities in Stark County are investigating after a 29-year-old pedestrian was killed by a vehicle in Sugar Creek Township in Stark County.
On Wednesday at around 7:30 p.m., deputies from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about a car-pedestrian crash in the 8800 block of Justus Avenue Southwest in Sugar Creek Township.
Deputies on scene learned a vehicle traveling southbound on Justus Avenue struck a pedestrian, identified as Bryttny N. Tucker, 29, of Beach City.
She was transported from the scene to Aultman Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office and the Canton Metro Crash Team.
Authorities said this is not a hit-skip.
