Deputies believe Fox was about to drive to her job when she was shot.

Major C.J. Stantz said Fox lived at the home with her boyfriend, but he is not a suspect in the killing.

Neighbors said Fox was a mother, but Stantz said no children were at the home when deputies responded to the shooting.

Her employer, FedEx, gave News 5 the following statement:

"We are shocked and saddened to learn of this tragic incident and extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of our team member Morgan Fox. We are cooperating fully with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation."

Fox was a former employee of BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse in North Canton.

General Manager Patrick Sobieski said, "We are deeply saddened by this tragedy and the loss of Morgan. Our hearts and thoughts are with her family and loved ones at this time."

The sheriff’s office is requesting that anyone with information on the homicide to contact them at (330) 430-3800 or the anonymous tip line (330) 451-3937.
