The calling hours and funeral for Stark County's Chief Sheriff Deputy John Campbell were announced on Wednesday.
Campbell was killed last Sunday in an accidental shooting at his home in Lake Township.
The calling hours for Chief Campbell will be Sunday, December 18 at the Reed Funeral Home located on Pittsburgh Avenue NW in North Canton Ohio between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. An FOP service will be held at 12:45 prior to the viewing.
The funeral will be held Monday, December 19, at the Reed Funeral Home with a graveside service to immediately follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens in Minerva with honors. The Stark County Sheriff's Office will also sponsor a reception and lunch following the burial service at St. George Catholic Church, located at 1123 44th Street NE in Canton, Ohio.
