WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A 65-year-old man has died after his motorcycle flipped over, causing him to be ejected from it, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 10:35 p.m. on Thursday, when a 65-year-old man from Beloit was traveling eastbound on Bayton Road and drove off the right side of the roadway and into the grass before going back on the road, where the motorcycle flipped over and ejected him, says the OSHP.
The man was transported with serious life-threatening injuries to Mercy Hospital, where he died on Sunday.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor. He was not wearing a helmet or protective gear.
The crash remains under investigation.
