"WOW!" That's a normal reaction to learn that someone has a $28,000 engagement ring. To hear it was stolen? Speechless.
Akron police say a woman reported a burglary at her home on the 2000 block of Jennifer Street on Friday. The woman said that while she was at work, between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., an unknown person entered her home through a rear window.
The burglar managed to get away with the woman's $28,000 engagement ring, a $1,000 diamond ring and miscellaneous watches, clothing and furs by Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade and Michael Kors.
