AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating after a 29-year-old man was found shot to death on Christmas Eve.
Police responded to the 400 block of Edgewood Avenue around 9:00 a.m., where they found a 29-year-old man in the back yard with a gunshot wound, according to a new release from the Akron Police Department.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Akron police.
The victim's name is being withheld pending family notification and an autopsy by the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police have not identified any suspects, according to the release.
