CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — The Cuyahoga Falls Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver in a fatal hit-skip involving a pedestrian that occurred on Sunday afternoon.
Around 12:06 p.m. first responders were called to 2nd Street and Grant Avenue, where they found a man believed to have been struck by a vehicle, which had fled the scene, according to police.
The man was transported to Summa Health System- Akron Campus where he later died from his injuries, police said.
A description of the vehicle involved in the hit-skip was not provided.
Police request anyone who was in the area of 2nd Street, Chestnut Boulevard and Grant Street between 11:55 a.m. and 12:06 p.m. Sunday and may have witnessed the incident to contact detectives at 330-971-8334.
