SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio — A dog who was returned to the Humane Society of Summit County after spending more than three years without being adopted is stepping back from the spotlight.

Geronimo will be spending time at a foster home to give him time to relax before finding his furever home.

The Humane Society of Summit County will have Geronimo work closely with dog trainers to adjust to a home setting and learn manners.

During his time in a foster home, the shelter will still be accepting applications for his adoption.

Geronimo needs to find an adult-only home where he will be the only pet.

To learn more about Geronimo, you can call the Humane Society at 330-487-0333.
