GREEN, Ohio — A 56-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a 50-year-old woman from Green on Monday.
According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Perry L. Bivins, of Kent, is charged with abduction, a third-degree felony.
Authorities say Bivins sent threatening messages to the woman on Monday and later that day approached her, ordered her into a vehicle and then drove to location in Kent.
The woman reached out to the police Monday night and authorities found her at the suspect’s home. Bivins was taken into custody and transported to the Summit County Jail. The woman didn’t sustain any injuries, police said.
