CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — A 51-year-old man was arrested after he drove the wrong way on Route 8 in Cuyahoga Falls early Monday morning, nearly striking several vehicles and tractor trailers.
Michael Korn was arrested and charged with OVI, multiple traffic offenses and felony failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, according to a police report from Cuyahoga Falls police.
Korn was traveling north in the southbound lanes of traffic on Route 8 at about 4 a.m. Monday, according the police report. Multiple Cuyahoga Falls police cruiser pursued his vehicle using emergency lights and audible signals.
Police said that once Korn crossed into the city of Stow, Stow police used stop sticks on his vehicle, and it came to a stop north of Season Road.
He was taken into custody and found to be impaired, the report states.
Korn was arrested, charged and taken to Summit County Jail.
