Two people were found dead Thursday inside of a home in Green from possible carbon monoxide poisoning.

The bodies of a 57-year-old man and his 69-year-old wife were found by a relative at the home on Buck Trail at 10:25 a.m., according to a Summit County Sheriff's Office news release.

News 5 partners the Beacon Journal reported the two dead are David and Shin Hill, owners of Hill's Supply, a dairy equipment company.

The Hill's deaths have shocked the farm community in the area. Friends said David Hill was a generous and kind man who went above and beyond to help others when disaster struck. The Beacon Journal reported that Hill often helped others erect structures if their barns burnt down.

Hill Supply grew from a long shot business to immensely successful over the years. It now has four locations and serves dairy farms in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Kentucky, Ben Torsell, a branch manager, told the Beacon Journal.

Summit County law enforcement officials and city fire department responded to the home and determine there were lethal levels of carbon monoxide inside of the home before entering.

Both bodies were taken to the medical examiner's office.

The incident is still under investigation.
