National Weather Service issues Flash Flood Warning for parts of Northeast Ohio on Monday

SUMMIT COUNTY — The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for parts of Northeast Ohio, including Medina and other cities in Summit County.

The Flash Flood Warning is in effect until 9:45 a.m. Monday morning.

Areas in Barberton and Norton are having problems with high water and flooding, according to the NWS.

The National Weather Service reports the heaviest rainfall was 3 to 5 inches across Richland, Ashland, Wayne and Summit Counties.

Some locations that will experience flooding include: Akron, Cuyahoga Falls, Kent, Barberton, Green, Wadsworth, Tallmadge, Rittman, Mogadore, Lodi, Creston, Chippewa Lake, Stow, Norton, Fairlawn, Munroe Falls, Lakemore, Seville, Clinton and Westfield Center, according to NWS.
