NORTON, Ohio — A 14-year-old Norton Middle School student was arrested Friday after allegedly making threats against other students and the school.
The student has been charged with inducing panic, a second-degree felony.
According to authorities, the student posted a photo on Instagram of an assault-style rifle. Students later reported threats being made against them.
The student was taken into custody and transported to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center.
