A 35-year-old Akron man died Saturday night after losing control of his motorcycle, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Police said Michael H. Keith lost control of his 2007 Harley Davidson when a motorist pulling out of a driveway entered the road he was driving on.

Keith swerved off the road to avoid the other car and struck a guard rail, police said. He was transported by emergency responders to Akron General Hospital, but later succumbed to his wounds.

Police said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was not licensed to drive a motorcycle.

The driver of the other vehicle has not been charged.

The crash is still under investigation.
