Police and Summit County Drug Task Force members uncovered an underground marijuana bunker Monday in the 7800 block of Carter Road in Sagamore Hills, according to police.
Two suspects were arrested following a month long investigation into a growing and distribution of marijuana operation, Sagamore Hills police reported.
Investigators reported confiscating approximately 19 adult marijuana plants, equipment and chemicals used for growing the plants, two cars, a backhoe, money and other items. Police charged the suspects with felony "distribution" and numerous offenses, according to police.
Police will work with the prosecutor's office to file forfeiture paperwork for some of the property.
