WAYNE COUNTY, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after troopers found a man dead at a rest area on I-71 in Congress Township, located in Wayne County.
Troopers found the man, later identified as Mark Steven Phares, 61, of Wadsworth, unresponsive inside a recreational vehicle.
West Salem Town and Country EMS arrived to the rest stop and Phares was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation. Troopers said they do not suspect foul play at this time.
