A local 6-year-old girl fighting for her life is now the star of a viral video shared by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Madison, 6, of Wooster, is battling a rare form of cancer that affects the brain and spinal cord. Right now, Madison is going through chemotherapy and her treatments will continue until next spring.
Madison's fight is one reason why Captain Doug Hunter sat down with her in his cruiser.
Captain Hunter is asking the community to send cards, as well as gas cards if possible, to the Wayne County Justice Center. The donations will go towards helping Madison's family pay for her many trips to the doctor's office.
The Facebook post created by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office already has hundreds of comments and shares, as well as more than 10,000 video views.
Watch the video below to hear Madison talk with Captain Hunter about how her treatments make her feel sick, but she still finds a bright side.
Madison had to miss her first day of kindergarten due to her immune system being weak.
