Girl orphaned by fire has wish: Christmas cards

Safyre Terry lost her father and 3 siblings in a house fire two years ago.

She now lives with her aunt, Liz Dodler, who documents the 5-year-old's journey on a Facebook page: Safyre Schenectady's Super Survivor

The May 2013 fire was caused by arson and the then 3-year-old was found in the debris next to her father, who used his body to shield her from the flames. Safyre suffered severe burns and lost her right hand and left foot.

This year, Dodler bought a tree to hang holiday cards on and all Safyre wants is to fill that tree up!

Do you want to help make her dream come true?

I wonder how many of my friends would take the time to write and send Safyre a Merry Christmas card that she can hang on her card tree....Safyre P.O. Box 6126Schenectady NY 12306
