CLEVELAND — A water main break has closed Newell Street between Mentor Avenue and West Jackson Street as crews work to repair the break, according to a release from the City of Painesville.
Crews turned off the water to the immediate area and a boil alert will be issued to those who lost water.
City staff will notify those who are affected, the release stated.
The repair is estimated to be completed by the end of the day.
