Fire crews are on scene of a water main break off of Old Royalton Road in Brecksville Monday afternoon, according to a Brecksville Fire Department official.
A neighbor in the area said the water main break spans the width of 15 homes, with water flowing directly into some homes.
The Brecksville fire chief said their crews responded after receiving the call at about 12:30 p.m. They called the Cleveland Water Department and tried to shut off the water with their water key, but it didn't work, the chief said. Cleveland Water showed up and shut off the water about an hour later.
Video provided to News 5 shows fast-moving water spilling down a hill into the front yard of one home in the area.
