Fire crews from eight different departments battled the flames Thanksgiving Day at a Painesville home.
A Painesville fire captain told News 5 that a 52-year-old man was flown to the hospital after being burned in the house fire.
"When our first units arrived, the house was completed involved in fire, there was fire coming out of all the windows and there was actually fire catching on to the homes on either side of the property," said Painesville City Fire Captain Tom Hummel.
The house along Bank Street is likely a complete loss. Two adjacent homes were also damaged by the intense flames and fire fight. Both of those houses are still habitable.
There's no early indication on what caused the fire.
