Cleveland police have found two missing boys who were believed to be with their non-custodial mother.
There is a Cuyahoga County court order placing the two boys, ages 1 and 3-years-old, in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services, police said. Social workers had been attempting to remove the children from their home in the 14000 block of Lakota Avenue for about a week but received no response at the door, according to police.
Police attempted to contact the mother, but her phone has been suspended, police said.
Police said they were concerned for the safety of the children.
The children were recovered Saturday. At this time, no charges have been filed.
