Texas Senator Ted Cruz won re-election in a tight race against newbie Beto O'Rourke and Indiana Republican Mike Braun beating incumbent Mike Donnelly helped boost the Republicans.
As of 10:26 p.m., ABC said Republicans will have at least 50 seats in the Senate; Democrats currently have 37 seats locked in with the remainder still in contention.
