WASHINGTON D.C. — Now with the rules set, Democrat impeachment managers will deliver their opening statements for the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump on Wednesday beginning at 1 p.m.
ABC News will air a special report at 1 p.m. Watch it live below:
The rules, which were approved along party lines at 2 a.m. Wednesday, say impeachment managers will have 24 hours over three days to present their case for removing Trump from office. Initially, Republicans proposed two 12-hour days for opening arguments.
The Democrats' case will be presented by the seven impeachment managers that were introduced by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi last week: lead manager Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Hakeem Jeffries, Zoe Lofgren, Val Demings, Jason Crow and Sylvia Garcia.
