The State of Ohio has reported its first case of Zika acquired through sexual transmission.
The virus was found in a 61-year-old Lucas County woman.
According to the Ohio Department of Health, the woman's husband traveled to a country with active Zika transmission and tested positive for the virus, making him the 15th travel-associated case in the state.
There are 755 travel-associated Zika virus cases in the country and another 12 Zika cases acquired through sexual transmission, according to the CDC.
