Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized 189 pounds of marijuana, worth approximately $634,320, following a traffic stop in Wood County.

OSHP reported troopers stopped a 2007 Ford F350 pick-up truck, pulling a 2015 Hallmark car-hauler trailer, with California registration, for a following too closely violation on Interstate 80 at 10:42 a.m. on March 11.

Troopers said they saw marijuana residue in plain sight. A probable cause search revealed seven locked plastic totes containing 152 packages of hydroponic marijuana.

The driver, identified as Cody C. Inman, 27, of Colfax, California, was arrested and put in Wood County Jail. He was charged with possession and trafficking in marijuana.

If convicted, Inman could face up to 16 years in prison and up to a $30,000 fine.
