CLEVELAND — Ohio State Parks Division is asking those who choose to enjoy one of the many campsites around the state to leave their nature retreat as they found it: clean and trash free.
For the past several weeks, campers have flocked to the state parks to get away at a safe social distance for some relaxation. But recently, some campsites were left littered with trash after a weekend of camping.
State park officials are reminding campers to take out any trash you may bring in as a way to not disrupt the woodland ecosystems and keep the sites clean for others to enjoy.
Pictures taken by park staff show cans, bottles and other trash on the picnic tables and on the ground.
