Sheetz will be offering free meals to children in need across the area beginning Thursday.
The “Kidz Meal Bagz” free meal program will include a turkey sandwich, chips and a drink and will be available all day, according to a news release from Sheetz. Families will be offered one bag per child.
Families interested in taking advantage of the program should go to participating Sheetz locations and ask an employee at the register for a meal.

Meals will be available daily while supplies last, and the program will continue for two weeks, at which time it will be reevaluated based on community need, the release states.
