CLEVELAND — There a special camaraderie among food service industry workers, a type of support system that needed is now more than ever after restaurants and bars across the state were ordered to close following Gov. Mike Dewine’s order last month. In an effort to keep the sense of community and ongoing support for service industry workers in Northeast Ohio going, Terrestrial Brewing Company, 7524 Father Frascati Drive, is hosting a “Family Meal” for food service workers.

On Monday, April 6, between 1 and 4 p.m., Terrestrial Brewing is offering a free meal of a grilled cheese sandwich, tomato soup and a hot cup of coffee to food industry members.

The brewery collaborated with Souper Market, Ready Set Coffee and Social Paws to provide the meals. Terrestrial will provide a maximum of two meals for each person in case that person has a friend or partner at home.

Instructions will be provided upon arrival. Those arriving to the event should practice social distancing.

Also as another way to say thank you the service industry workers, The Cleveland Zoological Society is donating two tickets per meal (up to the first 100 meals) to enjoy the zoo after hours on July 8 at the ZooFriends and Family Night.
