Strong winds caused trees to fall and power outages across Northeast Ohio on Thursday evening.
FirstEnergy reported thousands of outages across Northeast Ohio due to storm damage and heavy winds.
More than 6,000 customers are experiencing outages in Cuyahoga County and more than 1,000 customers are experiencing outages in Geauga County.
Lake County has reported more than 2,400 outages and Summit County has reported more than 3,200 outages.
Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood lost power from Fenwick Avenue to Storer Avenue along West 44th Street due to the strong winds.
Cleveland Public Power announced power outages from Parkgrove Avenue to Deise Avenue and from East 140th Street to East 164th Street caused around 870 customers to lose power.
The company also announced downed wires near East 156th Street and Ridpath Avenue had caused outages in the nearby area.
