Cleveland Indians pitcher, Danny Salazar has been placed on the 15-day disabled list because of inflammation in his right elbow.
Outfielder Brandon Guyer will assume Salazar's spot on the 25-man roster.
During Tuesday's MRI, structural damage to Salazar's elbow was ruled out. The MRI only revealed inflammation in the area of the right elbow. Salazar will have to avoid throwing for 5 to 7 days and is expected to miss 2 to 3 weeks.
Guyer was traded to Cleveland from the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday.
