CLEVELAND — The 8th Annual NFL Honors took place Saturday evening and Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield did not win Rookie of the Year, according to Tom Withers of the Associated Press.
Saquon Barkley voted AP Offensive Rookie of the Year over Baker Mayfield. Barkley received, 26.5 votes, Mayfield 21.5.

The Browns shared a video of Mayfield dressed for the event, talking to his fans before heading to the ceremony.

Mayfield was up for the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Award after his record-breaking season with the Browns.
Mayfield set the NFL rookie record for most touchdown passes in a season with 27, passing Payton Manning and Russell Wilson’s records, in just 14 appearances.
In addition to his 27 touchdowns, Mayfield passed for 3,275 yards.
Mayfield lost to New York Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley who had a combined 2,028 rushing and receiving yards with 15 total touchdowns.

The 2019 NFL Honors ceremony took place at Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
