Controversy after controversy, it seems Cleveland Browns fans have had enough of Johnny Football.
Manziel is under investigation by the NFL and Dallas police for possible domestic violence. He's ordered to stay away from ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley for two years.
The Browns released a harshly worded statement, making their plans for Manziel pretty clear- so why is his jersey still being sold in stores, full price?
newsnet5.com talked to one fan, Viktor, who wanted that to change.
"People are fed up with him. They really had their hopes up for him."
After Ray Rice's suspension a few years back, the Ravens offered a jersey exchange and more than 7000 fans participated.
newsnet5.com went to the Browns Pro Shop to see if the same thing could happen here. Employees said probably not. But, if you've bought a Manziel jersey in the past 30 days, you can return it, just like any other Browns apparel.
Fans, like Viktor, still hope the Browns will consider an exchange for fans with Manziel jerseys.
"They should do a buyback program. Lately I've noticed a disconnect between management and fans and I think this could be a good way to get back in good graces, if they would do a buy back program," he told us.
The Browns team shop said it will sell Manziel jerseys and apparel until he's officially off the team.
