The Cleveland Browns have fired five assistant coaches, four of which were defensive coaches, just days after the team got rid of defensive coordinator Ray Horton.
The Browns announced Tuesday afternoon that the following coaches had been relieved of their duties:
Louie Cioffi (defensive backs)
Johnny Holland (inside linebackers)
Hal Hunter (offensive line)
Cannon Matthews (assistant defensive backs)
Ryan Slowik (outside linebackers)
