A new billboard went up just in time for Cody Kessler's Sunday start as the Browns take on the Miami Dolphins.
Along Interstate 480 near Broadview Road, a billboard reads "CODY KESSLER, Good luck from Bakersfield."
A spokesperson from Cody Kessler's alma mater — Centennial High School in Bakersfield — said he contacted a California advertising company about the idea. That company then arranged to have the billboard put up in Cleveland.
The Browns announced earlier this week that Kessler will start as quarterback in Sunday's game after Josh McCown suffered a shoulder injury during last week's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
