CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have hired Chris Jones from the Canadian Football League as their new senior defensive specialist, according to New 5's partners at the Akron Beacon Journal.
Jones was a graduate assistant coach at the University of Alabama when current Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens was their quarterback.
Jones was the general manager and head coach of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
