St. Ignatius senior All-State lacrosse goalie, Carter Blossey, received the McDonald's Student Athlete of the Week honor.
"I think my biggest strength is just communication through the team and being a leader," he explained.
He excels academically and is aiming to become a mechanical engineer. He plans to attend Ohio State, where he will join the club lacrosse team.
He leaves St. Ignatius with important advice for his peers.
He said, "Everything revolves back around to what you do outside of the classroom or the field. Like for me, it is studying at home, putting in the extra work for lacrosse outside of practice and just not only bettering yourself off the field but doing things so you can help others improve as well."
