WAYNESBURG — The Stark County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating an accidental death after a tree fell and struck a man Saturday.
Deputies responded to the 6900 block of Ravenna Avenue in Waynesburg on Saturday at 2:07 p.m. and located a 58-year-old man who had been struck by a falling tree.
The man was a member of the tree removal crew, deputies said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's death is being listed as "accidental", according to deputies.
The man's identity will be released once his family has been notified.
